AgriExchange has a very active Research and Development programme to ensure we apply world best practice through the implementation of innovative technology and production practices.  The technical team is constantly monitoring new citrus varieties to meet the changing needs and tastes of consumers and research to improve fruit size, yield, quality and pre- and post-harvest production techniques is ongoing.

Having led the citrus industry away from its reliance on valencias, AgriExchange is actively promoting the planting of fresh table varieties including navel oranges and easy peelers.

To sustain this shift, AgriExchange has initiated the annual removal of a percentage of lower returning or out of favour varieties, the areas which are then replanted to newer or more popular varieties .This policy ensures the ongoing profitability of the property for its owners.
